DescriptionLetter written from 35 Pall Mall, London dated 2 December. Rarey [1827-1866] writes that he has no connection with a book published by Routledge and that it should not be relied upon for information about his system. He plans to publish his own book once he has visited 'all those European & Asiatic countries wherein the noblest specimens of the Equine race are to be met with & most successfully studied'.

An annotation on the front of the letter states that only the signature is in Rarey's hand.
