| Description | She apologises for accidentally calling him Canon Leatherdale at a recent meeting of 'the G. S.' [General Synod], and thanks him for his 'acceptable and valuable gift', which appears to be a manuscript draft, as she goes on to speak of previous proof reading experiences which have left her 'a bit sore'.
She is especially complimentary about his 'Swinton' research, and talks of her own 'rudimentary and truncated (edited) monograph commissioned by the St Peter's PCC Streatham' which relates to Tractarian churches |
