| Description | This letter was sent to accompany the gift of a book as a remembrance of her husband. Mrs Dickinson had the book, 'Memorials of S. S. Dickinson' printed for private circulation in memory of her husband. It comprises an introductory Memoir about her husband's life, which include detailed extracts from letters he wrote to family members, followed by papers he had written on such subjects as education, taxation, law reform and temperance and some verse entitled 'Lines on photography'. Some of the papers had previously been printed; others were found amongst his papers after his death |
