| Description | Letter, written from Edgbaston, Birmingham, to accompany the enclosed gift of a letter [from Joseph Chamberlain] which he had been given to gain admission to the platform at Victoria Station on the occasion of Chamberlain's departure to South Africa [on 24 November 1902]. Collings notes that he did not need to show it so he sends it 'with pleasure'. This letter is dated 13 December 1902.
