Extent1 item
Date1918
DescriptionLetter, written on campaign office headed notepaper, when Mosley was standing as Coalition Candidate for the Harrow Division of Middlesex. At the time of the campaign, he was a serving as Lieutenant in the 16th Lancers and the notepaper includes these details too. The letter is dated 3 December.

He thanks Joyce, who was residing at the Vicarage, Harrow, for his pamphlet on the 'Welsh Church question'. He goes on to say that he thinks disestablishment is irrevocable but the Prime Minister has consented to a reconsideration of the financial clauses and assures him that the Unionist party will do their best to procure an equitable settlement of 'this vexed question'. He ends by saying he was sorry to have missed Joyce on the 29th but hopes they may meet and discuss politics soon.
