Rubbing of brass rectangular plate with kneeling effigy and inscription in Latin; effigy holds pastoral staff with inscription in left hand and lighted taper in right hand; in background are views of the college and Carlisle Cathedral, sheepfolds, a dog and several small figures; several allegorical devices and scrolls inscribed with scriptural texts in Latin and Greek
