DescriptionBank Holiday programme for an Anglo-Danish Exhition; programme includes Band of The Victoria Rifles, Tableaux Vivants, Organ recitals, Band of the Royal Horse Guards, Band of the Grenadier Guards and Pyrotechnic Illumination of the Ice Slopes of Danish Village; also includes tableaux vivants from the fairy lore of Hans Christian Andersen and under the direction of H. Savile Clarke: Tableau I: 'The Little Match Girl'; Tableau II: 'The Emperor's New Clothes'; Tableau III: 'Tommelise'; Tableau IV: 'The Swineherd'; Tableau V: 'The Marsh King's Daughter'.

Concerts and tableaux vivants performed throughout the afternoon and evening of the 21 May 1888 from 12.00 to 9.45; organ recitals at The Royal Albert Hall; band concerts at the Western and Eastern Kiosks and tableaux vivants in the Theatre in Gardens.
