Katherine Breshko-Breshkoskaya (1844-1934), a Russian socialist and revolutionary was known as the Grandmother of the Russian Revolution. She was given a seat in Alexander Kerensky's government in early 1917 but was forced to flee Russia following the October Revolution and died in Czechoslovakia
