TitleMaroon and Monduran Dams
Extent1 file
DescriptionPapers relating to modification works to installations undertaken by GEC at Maroon Dam, Queensland, Australia, and Monduran Dam, Queensland, Australia.

The works involved the modification of valves at these two dams and the papers comprise drawings, correspondence and memoranda and also include material relating to a visit to Australia in February 1976.

The file also includes papers relating to works at Burrinjuck Dam, New South Wales, Australia, commissioned by the Water Conservation and Irrigation Commission, New South Wales. It would appear that the papers were filed together (in a single chronological sequence) because Gleb Kerensky was working on this project at the same time as the work on the Maroon and Monduran dams. This work involved design and manufacture of discharge regulators and the papers comprise correspondence and engineering sketches.

The latest items in the file contain a few papers relating to possible works at Canning, Western Australia and valves for the New Zealand Electricity Department.
