| Description | The conference was arranged as a tribute to Oleg Kerensky. It was held at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, London in June 1988 on the theme of Tension Structures, and subsequent memorial conferences were to be held every two years.
The material comprises two issues of 'The Structural Engineer'. The issue for 21 June 1988 contains an introduction to the Conference and a personal tribute to Oleg Kerensky by Professor M. R. Horne, and the issue for 14 July 1988 contains the speeches delivered at the Conference banquet. It also includes the programme for the Conference banquet which was held on 21 June and was attended by the Duke of Edinburgh who presented Kerensky Medals, and by Gleb Kerensky and his wife Mary. |
