| Description | Handwritten minutes of meetings of the council, which took place in October each year, with an additional meeting in April 1852. Minutes give details of council business, and include printed reports of the Committee of Sydenham College which was established to deal with matters concerning students and lecturers at the college. Printed reports for 1857 and 1860 are stuck into the volume, while those for 1861 and 1863-64 are loose. A printed letter dated 1857 describes the establishment of a sub-committee to award a prize to the best student, and to discuss aspects of teaching at Sydenham College. |
