Administrative HistoryAnatolia College was founded at the Merzifon Seminary in Greece in 1886, with Charles Tracy as President. The Girls' School was founded in 1893 and students were principally Greek and Armenian. The College was temporarily closed between 1916 and 1919 as the campus was occupied by Turkish troops during the First World War. It was closed again during the Second World War. The exact relationship between Anatolia College and Embrace the Middle East is unclear although internal evidence indicates that Embrace the Middle East supported the school during the early 20th century when atrocities were being perpetrated upon the Armenians.
