DescriptionLetters which cannot be accurately dated. Includes 28 letters which are incomplete. The correspondence largely concerns the day-to-day running of the Birmingham School of Medicine and later, Queen's College. Letters relate to raising subscriptions and donations and also sending apologies for absence at forthcoming meetings and events. All letters are addressed to Sands Cox except one which is addressed to 'dearest Bella' [written by Sands Cox to Isabella Lichfield] and concerns the author's medical health.
