DescriptionPrinted booklet containing copies of 'The Testimonials Presented to the Governors of the Birmingham General Hospital in favour of William Sands Cox'. It appears many of the testimonials were obtained in consequence of a Report of the Sub-Committee of the General Hospital which was presented to the weekly board on 18 January 1839. The majority of the testimonials were written druing 1838 to 1839 although there are a small number from 1825. Some testimonials confirm Sands Cox attended the medical and surgical practice of the Birmingham Hospital as well as St Thomas's Hospital. Printed by Richard Davies, Temple Row, Birmingham. 2 copies.
