DescriptionThe resolution was presented to Sands Cox upon his completion of a second period of ten years in the office of surgeon for Queen's Hospital. It is dated 26 June 1863 and signed by Dr Wade and fellow members of the hospital board. On behalf of the board, Wade offers thanks for Sands Cox's 'successful labours' during the 25 years he has served as Founder and Senior Surgeon.
