| Arrangement | The majority of photographs at the time of deposit were arranged in thirteen folders: Activities, AGMs, The Arts, Fundraising activities, Past officers of the Association, PHAB, NAYC Premises, Royals, Sports and Competitions (three folders), Staff, and Supporters and celebrities. These folders have been catalogued as sub-series. Each folder contained various envelopes and other packets of photographs, some of which were labelled and some of which were not. Each of these envelopes has been catalogued as a file. Most folders also contained some photographs which were loose in the folder. These are catalogued as "Other photographs" within each sub-series.
A miscellaneous sub-series has been created to contain photographs which were originally in envelopes or other packets that were not in any of the 13 main folders and a photograph albums sub-series has been created to contain albums (these were not in any of the original 13 folders).
The "General UK Youth work" sub-series was formed from a separate set of photographs which appear to be taken by or given to Carola Adams, a UK Youth employee. |
