| Description | These items were held in an envelope marked 'New Brighton Tower Orchestra [Approx. 1900]'. They comprise two letters from T. W. Scragg, dated 24 November and 11 December 1954, relating to research for articles he was writing, with accompanying programmes for concerts given by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Society on 23 November and 7 December 1965. The programme for the concert of 23 November contains an article on Sibelius by T. W. Scragg and A. E. Over. The envelope also contains handwritten lists, some possibly by Bantock, of the names of members of the New Brighton Tower Orchestra. |
