Administrative HistorySamuel Adams Parker (LDS, RCS), the son of S. W. Langston Parker, a well known Birmingham surgeon, was the founder of the dental hospital in Birmingham in 1858. He was the author of 'Remarks upon Artificial Teeth and upon the state of the mouth in which they should and should not be used, with a description of the material best suited to particular cases, and an appendix, etc.' (Birmingham, 1862) and other works
