| Description | Illuminated address presented to Robert Perks Yates in December 1885 'from his Employes' [sic] at the Exchange Works and Saw Mills, Rocky Lane, Birmingham. A statement of solidarity to their employer 'having heard the false and libellous statements in circulation'. The address is followed by list of names of 54 employees ordered by their length of service in the company. The address was written as a consequence of events surrounding his unsuccessful bid to become a Parliamentary candidate for Aston Manor in 1885.
