Brief letter written following Etty's return from the Royal Academy where he notes he had been in conversation with Turner [probably the artist J. M. W. (William) Turner]. Etty states that Turner said 'he shall keep a Private View Ticket' for Gillott. This letter is undated although the date of 25 April 1846 has been written on the reverse.
