Description/1 Copy of letter from Oliver Lodge to Fraser-Harris, dated 4 October 1927. Lodge responds to Fraser-Harris's Nerve-Energy paper, arguing that nerve fibres are only transmitters of energy. He is unwilling to support Benjamin Moore's theory that life is a form of energy until there is evidence. He adds that potential energy can be measured without an extracting or converting it.

/2 Copy of letter from Oliver Lodge to Fraser-Harris, dated 11 October 1927. Lodge wishes Fraser-Harris success as editor of a new popular science journal and proposes to send his address on ether and matter. He speculates on matters which Fraser-Harris mentioned previously: the body's production of HCl for digestive purposes, and the relationship between the stimulation of muscle fibres and the speed of a movement. He suggests possible opponents who could write in reply to his psychic article. He suggests that Fraser-Harris try to join the Royal Institution and the Athenaeum.
