Description/1 Letter from Edmund K. Muspratt [1833-1923, industrial chemist] to Oliver Lodge, written from Seaforth Hall, Seaforth, Liverpool, dated 15 September 1900. Muspratt agrees that appointing Wilberforce was the right decision. He writes that he is ashamed when he compares the state of chemical and technical education in Britain to what has been done in the United States.

With postscript on separate sheet about Lodge's 'Man and the Universe', signed 'RWM'. [This does not seem to belong with the above letter].
