/1 Letter from Helen Cochrane to Oliver Lodge, written from Rezzola, Pugliola, Province di Spezia, dated 4 November 1927, with envelope. Cochrane praises Lodge's Morning Post articles. She is glad that the two pictures have been a success. Baroness Orczy and her husband have visited and are pleased with their new home: 'I have helped to create another beauty spot in this magic land'. She cannot afford to run the house during the winter as Percy has cut her allowance again. She is being treated for rheumatism.

/2 Letter from Helen Cochrane to Oliver Lodge, written from the Fine Art Society, 148 New Bond Street, London, dated 29 April 1929, with envelope. Cochrane asks Lodge to forward the speech of the ambassador ('H.E.') to several newspapers. An important show of Old Masters is opening tomorrow.

/3 Letter from Helen Cochrane to Oliver Lodge, written from Rezzola, Pugliola, Province di Spezia, dated 9 December 1929, with envelope. Cochrane thanks Lodge for sending the message from Mary. She hopes Miss Callender, Lady Ellis and Sir Charles will come for Christmas. There is a chance of Rezzola being sold but despite her anxieties she is very happy. She urges Lodge to take care of his health.
