In 1923, SCF allocated £150 for relief in Chile. In 1960 SCF made a small grant to Chile (£106). The exact purpose is not known. There was a major earthquake in Southern Chile in May 1960. In 1961 SCF allocated £1,300 (£700 in May, and £599 from British Columbia in August) for earthquake victims. In 1964 SCF made a donation to assist the work of a Voluntary Services Overseas volunteer in Chile. After another earthquake in 1965 SCF made a donation towards relief efforts. |
