Administrative History | Save the Children (SCF) first provided assistance in Indonesia in 1957, when it supplied drugs for use at the William Booth Hospital in Surbaya. In 1972 SCF decided to establish a Vocational Training Centre at Jombang, East Java, which was officially opened in 1974. The Centre was handed over to the Department of Social Welfare in 1978. |
