In 1974 the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC), which included SCF, used funds raised by its Ethiopian and African Drought Appeal to buy 20 trucks for the distribution of relief in Niger. DEC paid for the cost of transport to Niger and arranged a convoy for the delivery of the trucks. |
