Administrative HistoryProgramme spending in 1993/94, 1994/95

SCF UK started its operations in the Philippines in 1991. The major issues addressed included early childhood care and education, children in especially difficult circumstances (e.g. child labour and exploitation, youth offenders / children and the law) children's rights (UN Convention on the Rights of the Child was ratified in the Philippines on 21 August 1990) and other broad-based issues such as HIV/AIDS, food security, environment, disaster, and structural adjustment programmes.

SCF closed its country programme in the Philippines in March 2006.
