| Administrative History | During the 1960s, SCF sent small grants to various organisations in the Seychelles. In the 1970s the main recipient of SCF funds was the Seychelles Children Society, which ran a model crèche and later a school. In 1972-1973 SCF sent a social worker to the Seychelles to help develop family welfare services; projects included nutrition education initiatives, a Family Advice Centre, and a club for children with disabilities. In 1975 SCF supported the establishment of a 'School for Handicapped Children' in the Seychelles. |
