Administrative HistoryThe Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (abbreviated FRY) existed from 1992 to 2006. The federation was established by the republics of Serbia and Montenegro in 1992, after the collapse of the Soviet Union and dissolution of the Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia. In 2006 Serbia and Montenegro declared independence.

SCF started work in Serbia and Montenegro in 1993; by 1995 SCF was running a programme of work with unaccompanied refugee children, also a major programme of supplying maternity hospitals and ante natal clinics. SCF has also supported projects relating to children and disability.
