| Description | Collection of lantern slides presented to Save the Children Fund (SCF) in 1992 on permanent loan by Mr Peter Langley and his wife. The slides, apparently collected by Captain George F. Gracey, show SCF's work including shots of Armenia, the Russian Civil War, SCF work in Russian famine relief, village-building in Albania / Bulgaria, Budapest workschools, and UISE activities. One slide has Eglantyne Jebb's handwriting. Some of the slides are damaged or broken. |
