Administrative HistoryEthel 'Pat' Chennells, b 1913, worked for Save the Children Fund for 23 years, starting in 1950 at a nursery along Euston Road opposite St Pancreas church. She worked at Bermondsey, Hackney, Stepney and Bethnal Green Playgroups, before retiring in 1973. she also worked at Hopscotch between 1952-1960.
