DescriptionLetter written from Liverpool. He has got the two handkerchiefs and is glad to hear she is going on well. Hopes to hear she has been out in a chaise while the weather is so fine. She is to ignore the expense of this. He is glad to hear that the children have gone to school and that the house will be much quieter for her. Discusses a servant, his visit to Rochdale, and gives news of her old friend Mr Jones who has married again to a widow who has had two or three husbands. Also news of Thomas, who cannot have a seat in the gallery at Chapel. Gives instructions for the garden.
