DescriptionLetter written from Wolverhampton. Has received a bill and cash notes from John. She speaks of the chaos caused in the area by the closing of Gibbons' bank. Thomas has been to stay. His delay in writing had made her anxious, expecially as her previous letter had been written whilst she was ill. She apologises for being low, and describes her severe cold. Has been for a ride on her donkey, and called to see John's mother, but was suddenly too ill to inquire about her illness - sickness and backache - continued Sunday evening and Monday until tea-time
