TitleLetter from Elizabeth Shaw to John Shaw at Liverpool
Extent1 item
Date20 June 1823
DescriptionLetter written from Wolverhampton. She expects to see him the following Saturday. Thomas has improved in health recently, although he complains of his back. Edward's leg is the same; it is not growing at the same rate as the other one. John is a handful; Betsy still complains but seems better. She sees little of John's family. She is having trouble with the servants again; either they are incompetent or they demand higher wages. She mentions plans of meeting her mother and of going to Blackpool, which she hopes will be a tonic for the Children.
