TitleLetter from Elizabeth Shaw to John Shaw at Liverpool
Extent1 item
Date[1825?]
DescriptionLetter written from [Wolverhampton]. She has not written for a long time, for she has been very ill with a bilious attack which neither medicine nor warm baths would cure. When she finally did get to sleep her bedmate Kate had a fit and disturbed her. Now she is left with a heavy cold. Mr Fouke thinks her illness may be due to gallstones. Mr Crane has been ill also. The children are all right, apart from colds. They are leaving her on Monday.
