DescriptionLetter written from Wolverhampton. She shows concern about his health and comfort, and asks after Betsey too. It is almost a year since her mother died; she herself aspires to eternal peace in Heaven. Edward is home from school and his foot has been troubling him due to lack of attention; Mary's double teeth are coming through; the other children are at school. Thomson, their traveller, has had typhus which has left him lame in one leg. Cholera is still in the country.
