DescriptionThe Centre's subscriptions to journals like Feminist Review and Spare Rib reflect the increased centrality of feminism within the Centre from the mid-1970s onwards. Feminist Review is a peer-reviewed journal produced by a collective that aims to set new agendas in inter-disciplinary study. Rebecca O'Rourke, a key figure in the Centre's Women's Studies sub-group, was a member of the Feminist Review collective in the late-1970s and early-1980s, and a contributor to the journal.
