| Description | Agendas, supporting papers, and correspondence of a committee established to administer funds allocated to the University by the Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI), and to consider recommendations from the Faculties for recipients of ICI Fellowships. There was also an Inter-University Consultative Committee with representatives from each of the institutions participating in the Fellowships Scheme
Although no minutes appear to have survived, the papers include the names of those recommended for ICI Fellowships in scientific research, and details of the value of awards; annual reports on research carried out by Fellows, including information about publications; and statements of funds. It is unclear from these papers when the committee was established, but it appears that it continued to meet after the date of the last meting recorded in these papers, in May 1959
