Minutes include copies of the University's Learning, Teaching and Assessment Strategy and discussion of (and copies of) School strategies; discussion of Widening Participation strategy; papers relating to eLearning, particularly in response to the Higher Education Funding Council for England eLearning Strategy and Department For Education and Skills eLearning Strategy, and reports of the University's eLearning Strategy Working Group; Learning Development Unit funding; assessment strategies and marking practices; papers relating to the Disability Forum; references to the Institutional Audit; and Policy for the Provision of Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance
Minutes of the meeting held on 12 January 2005 include a copy of the University response to the National consultation by Universities UK, Standing Conference of Principals, Higher Education Funding Council for England, and the Higher Education Academy 'Towards a framework of professional teaching standards'
No minutes of the Educational Development Committee after 2005 have been transferred to the University Archives. It is likely that this committee was replaced at some point by the Education Committee (see UB/COM/54 for minutes from 2012 onwards) |
