| Description | Minutes of a committee established to oversee the Local Ethical Review Process in respect of Biomedical research. It was a sub-committee of the Joint Research Ethics and Conduct Committee (see UB/COM/151 for minutes)
The committee dealt with project and personal licence applications and renewals which had been referred from the Schools, and aimed to provide independent ethical advice and support. By 2004 meetings were joint ones of the Biomedical Ethical Review Sub-Committee and the First Level Ethical Review Process
It is not clear from the minutes whether the committee continued after the end of 2004. No further minutes have been transferred to the University Archives |
