Description	The committee met in summer and early autumn each year to plan and organise the Freshmen's Conference. The names of committee members are included in minutes for each year. Minutes discuss the formulation of the conference programme, the type of social events preferred and the timing of events, and the location of catering and stalls for student societies. Matters relating to the writing and publication of the Guild Handbook and Freshmen's Handbook are also discussed. Some information about finance, and a copy of a typescript committee report to Guild Council for the 1954 conference is included
