| Description | Early prospectuses produced by members of the Guild Education committee. First produced in 1980-1981 for prospective students, and intended to provide information about degree courses and life in halls of residence from a student's perspective. All contributions to the prospectus were written by students, and the source was supposed to complement the official prospectus and faculty handbooks. By the 1990s, the alternative prospectus was being produced by Student Reception, but otherwise the format remained consistent throughout the period covered by these records.
