| Description | Financial records of the Society, including income and expenditure accounts, balance sheets, financial statements and miscellaneous items of correspondence. The volumes have been arranged in four sub-series: general accounts, 1910-1981; library, social, photograph and petty cash accounts, 1928-1938; rugby football club accounts, 1964-1971 and a few items of Honorary Treasurer's correspondence, 1929-1935. The general accounts, compiled by the Honorary Treasurer, include consolidated records of the different Society accounts and signed, audited year end balance sheets. There are no financial records for the 1916/1917-1917/1918 academic sessions when the Society ceased activities due to World War I. This series provides detail of the day to day operations underlying the Society's activities. |
