Description	Group photographs of members of the Poynting Physical Society and its predecessor organisation the Mathematical and Physical Society. The two photographs of the Mathematical and Physical Society are the earliest in the sequence, dating from [1920] and 1921/22. The photographs of the Poynting Physical Society date from 1923/24 to c1980 but the sequence is not complete. The sequence contains one photograph of Poynting Physical Society RFC dated 1962-1963. From 1950-1951 to 1970 the names of individual members are printed beneath the photograph. The other photographs may have annotations but in many cases there is no information regarding the identity of individual members.
