| Description | This scrapbook consists of press cuttings; correspondence; patent specifications; photographs; and copies of research papers by Barker, relating to different aspects of biochemical research. All the items relate in some way to research that Barker, or the wider Chemistry Department at the University of Birmingham, was involved in during his career there. At the front of the scrapbook is an account by Barker recording what he considered to be his greatest achievements in carbohydrate research |
