Priestley's I have been here before is starting tomorrow, with Scott in the leading part. Laura Knight is witness in Mansell Dale's case, which is coming to court today. On Wednesday he must attend a conference on outdoor theatre, on Thursday one on the plan for a National Theatre, to be set up after the war. Will spend the night with Harry Hughes. Gabrielle does not have sufficient funds to buy the Nell Gwyn documents for the V and A. Also plans to see Peaseley, who was recently attacked and robbed in the blackout.
