Her husband will probably wish to return to Seaford. Is glad that Josephine Nicoll wishes to buy her picture of Horace Hill holding the lamb but fears that the picture is too big to be suitable. She and Harold are staying with friends at Hale's End, a very rural spot. The British Camp Hotel is very noisy in the summer but always interesting. Harold is to go to London to paint a portrait of Sir William Blagg, head of the Scientific Institute
