Everyone is feeling hopeful after the recent victories, though the war is so terrible and there is so much more suffering still to come. Barry Jackson and Scott have gone to Birmingham, where Scott is playing the leading role in The farmer's wife. It is doing very well. Reginald and Doris Tate have left to spend the winter in a cottage near Reginald's base. The studio is finished and she loves it
