Description	Has been very busy since his return from Canada. The people in the north east are determined to fight; the percentage of conscientious objectors is very low. He has also found this determination in young Canadians to whom he has spoken. The war will affect all Europe and some of Africa but it is the lesser evil than submitting to Hitler. Everyone in England is confident of victory. Hopes that Nicoll will be able to come to Britain. He and his wife are still living at the Grand Hotel. Stella [his daughter?] was married last week to a young lecturer. More family news
