Barry Jackson has quarrelled with Malvern Corporation and withdrawn from the Malvern Festival. Both sides of the quarrel presented. Jackson has seemed listless over the past few years. He will not like George Bernard Shaw's support of Malvern Corporation. Maybe Jackson will leave the theatre altogether. Bottomley and his wife are sailing for Greece in April. He sends a book containing his first comedy [Midsummer eve?]
